Can I book if I’m not sure what my concern is?
Many people are unsure how to describe changes in their intimate health. A consultation provides an opportunity to discuss your symptoms, medical history and concerns, and understand whether assessment, referral or a treatment pathway may be appropriate.
What happens during an intimate health consultation?
Your consultation begins with understanding your concerns, health history and goals. We will discuss your individual situation, including suitability, options, risks, limitations and alternatives before recommending any appropriate next steps.
Do you offer telehealth consultations?
Telehealth can be a convenient and private first step for many patients. Depending on your concerns, further assessment, examination, pathology, imaging or an in-person consultation may be recommended.
What if a treatment is not suitable for me?
Not every concern requires treatment. Where appropriate, recommendations may include monitoring, conservative care, pelvic health support, referral to another healthcare professional or no treatment.
Do you see women, men and couples?
Yes. Suede x Géniale Intimate Health provides care for women, men and couples seeking support with intimate health concerns. Couples may choose to attend together where appropriate, recognising that intimate health can affect both partners.
What are women’s intimate health concerns
Women may seek consultation for concerns including menopause-related changes, vaginal dryness, pelvic health concerns, urinary symptoms, tissue changes, discomfort or changes following childbirth, laser and aesthetics.
What are men’s intimate health concerns?
Men may seek consultation for concerns including erectile function, changes in sensitivity, penile health concerns, urinary symptoms, laser, aesthetics, hormone-related concerns and questions about suitability for specific treatment options.
Are O-Shot® or P-Shot® suitable for everyone?
Procedures and treatment options are only considered following consultation and assessment. Dr Mike will discuss suitability, potential benefits, risks, limitations and alternatives before any decision is made.
Do I need a referral?
In many cases, a referral is not required. However, depending on your medical history or treatment pathway, your doctor may recommend collaboration with your GP or another healthcare professional.
