Suede Gift Cards are available in denominations determined by Suede from time to time and may be purchased through [Suede website/store].

Gift Cards may be provided in physical or digital/electronic form.

Each Gift Card is issued for the value shown at the time of purchase and may only be redeemed in accordance with these Terms.

Gift Cards will be activated upon successful purchase and payment, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Once a Gift Card has expired, it cannot be redeemed or reactivated, except where required by applicable Australian consumer law.

Please retain your Gift Card and proof of purchase where possible.

Gift Cards may be redeemed for eligible products and services available through Suede at the time of redemption.

Unless otherwise stated, Gift Cards:

• May be used for multiple transactions until the available balance reaches zero.
• May be used in conjunction with other accepted payment methods where the purchase amount exceeds the Gift Card balance.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Cannot be used to purchase another Gift Card.
• Cannot be used for transactions or products specifically excluded by Suede.

Gift Cards may be subject to reasonable restrictions communicated at the time of purchase.

The remaining balance on a Gift Card may be checked through calling Suede Reception.

The Gift Card balance cannot be converted into cash or withdrawn.

If the value of a purchase is less than the available Gift Card balance, the remaining amount will remain available for future eligible purchases during the Gift Card’s validity period.

If the value of a purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount may be paid using another accepted payment method.

Treat your Gift Card like cash.

Suede is not responsible for Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, destroyed, copied, used without authorisation, or otherwise compromised after they have been issued, except where required by law.

We may request proof of purchase and other information before investigating or replacing a Gift Card.

Where reasonably possible and where required by applicable law, Suede may cancel and replace a compromised Gift Card with the remaining verified balance.

Where a purchase made using a Gift Card is returned or cancelled, any refund will generally be provided in accordance with Suede’s applicable returns and refund policy and applicable Australian consumer law.

Where appropriate, refunds for purchases originally paid using a Gift Card may be credited back to the original Gift Card or issued as another form of store credit.

Gift Cards themselves are generally not refundable or redeemable for cash after purchase, except where required by law.

From time to time, Suede may offer promotional, bonus, complimentary, or goodwill Gift Cards.

Additional conditions may apply to these Gift Cards, including different expiry dates, minimum-spend requirements, exclusions, or restrictions.

Where additional conditions apply, they will be communicated at the time the promotional Gift Card is issued.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional or complimentary Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift Cards may not be eligible for additional discounts or promotional offers unless expressly stated by Suede.

Where a discount or promotion applies to a purchase made using a Gift Card, the terms of that promotion will determine whether the Gift Card may be used.

Suede reserves the right to refuse, cancel, suspend, or deactivate a Gift Card where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised use, tampering, duplication, unlawful activity, or a breach of these Terms.

Suede may request reasonable information to verify the purchase, ownership, or validity of a Gift Card.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to Suede under applicable law.

Gift Cards may be given or transferred to another person unless otherwise stated.

The person in possession of a Gift Card may be able to redeem it, subject to these Terms.

Suede is not responsible for disputes between individuals regarding ownership or transfer of a Gift Card.

Gift Cards must be purchased using an accepted payment method.

Suede reserves the right to cancel or decline a Gift Card transaction where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, payment issues, or other unlawful or unauthorised activity.

Gift Cards will only be issued once payment has been successfully processed.

Where a digital Gift Card is purchased, it may be delivered to the email address or other delivery destination provided during checkout.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the recipient’s details are entered correctly.

Suede is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the purchaser, subject to applicable consumer law.

Suede may update these Gift Card Terms from time to time.

Any changes will apply to Gift Cards issued after the updated Terms take effect, unless otherwise required by law.

Changes will not affect accrued rights or entitlements where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Our Gift Card Terms are intended to operate alongside your statutory consumer rights.

If there is an inconsistency between these Terms and a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement will prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

Personal information collected in connection with the purchase or use of a Gift Card will be handled in accordance with Suede’s Privacy Policy.
